From the foundations to confident coding.
This professional development course takes you from no prior background to reading a medical record and assigning codes with confidence. You start with the foundations of clinical coding and the patient medical record, build a working knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and word building, then learn to code with ICD-10-AM, ACHI and the Australian Coding Standards, the classification system used by New Zealand hospitals.
